We are happy to announce that Mozaik Education’s new Digital Education Packages, created in the framework of a partnership with Vodafone, are available for Vodafone customers from 20 October 2020. These unique packages aim to improve access to immersive digital content for primary and secondary school students as well as to develop students’ digital skills. 
The common goal of Vodafone Hungary and Mozaik Education is to fight against social inequalities by providing access to high-quality educational content for the next generation and improving their digital skills using interactive learning content.
As part of the new Digital Education Packages, users can get unlimited access to mozaWeb, Mozaik Education’s digital educational platform, which contains more than 1200 interactive 3D scenes, 1200 videos, 120 subject-related tools and games, 780 audios, 5300 images as well as numerous exercises and worksheets to support education and learning in the digital space. Also, these packages include digital textbooks as well (1 or 5 freely chosen, primary or secondary school textbooks), which, together with the interactive content, help to process new knowledge and to deepen and practice the acquired knowledge.
“High-quality education should be available for every child. This was our basic idea, when back in spring, due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus, we decided to offer Mozaik Education’s digital educational content without having to use any data from the plan. This remained our main focus when we created the two new Digital Education Packages as, for only the price of a meal, we can provide our clients with high-quality, exciting digital educational content every month.” said Balázs Révész, Vodafone Hungary’s Consumer Business Unit Director. One of the advantages of the new packages is that customers can purchase them without having to sign a fixed-term plan, this way, customers can buy this service only for a month, such as when preparing for a final test or aiming to improve marks at the end of the school year.

Thanks to Vodafone, the provider's customers could enjoy this content with free data usage. The newly introduced Digital Education Packages aim to support those who want help to process the study materials more easily and in a more engaging way,” said Dr. Ildikó Török, Business Development Director at MOZAIK Education.
The Digital Education Package Basic, available for a monthly fee of HUF 750, provides unlimited access to Mozaik Education's cloud-based, integrated education system and includes free access to one selected textbook. The Digital Education Package Extra, available for a monthly fee of HUF 2,490, also provides unlimited access to the learning material available on mozaWeb and, in addition, students can choose five digital textbooks offered for their school grade. These interactive textbooks help make learning more exciting, faster, and more lasting; they are recommended for parents and students who want to make learning at home an entertaining experience. Customers can activate for any Vodafone monthly plan in the MyVodafone application or via online or telephone customer service. It can also be added to newly purchased fixed-term plans in the Vodafone webshop and stores. The service can also be ordered by parents; students do not need to have a fixed-term Vodafone plan.
We are proud to present you the new features introduced in mozaBook's newest stable version (4.5.7.101) release. Apart from general stability and performance improvements, here is a list of the most important updates:
- We have introduced a new intelligent view for the publication menu. Users are now able to access instantly the most recently opened publications and exercise books. Furthermore, publications can be categorized by subject, grade, publication type, publisher, series, and age group. Users can filter for primary aspects straight from the book self and then further categorise in the view menu for secondary attributes to form folders. They can quickly and intuitively find the desired content by selecting primary and secondary attributes (for example they can group first for subject and then further organize for publisher) with the mini-icons next to the book-shelf at the same time. With this method, as shown in the picture below, users can easily group books and atlases belonging to the subject of history.
- We have updated the design of the media library and generally improved the UI to be more user-friendly. The functioning of the scrollbar and the quick search has been refined as well.
- In the media library we have redesigned the quick launch feature (rocket icon), and added a new most recent view (bull’s-eye icon) that helps to keep track of daily search and usage history.
- In the share menu, sharing effortlessly and immediately with a group or class is now available for exercise books.
- A 32-bit and 64-bit installer is now available separately for mozaBook
- Stability improvements have been made to the Classwork function.
The following changes have been made regarding the localization of mozaBook:
- New languages available for mozaBook: Thai and Serbian (latin alphabet).
- Persian numbers have been introduced for the Farsi language.
- The software can now handle the Thai calendar.
- New download servers location: Croatia, Iran and Thailand.
The following tools and games have been converted to HTML5:
- Letter cards, Kaleidoscope, Code Breaker and Scale
We are working hard to have all of our tools and games available in HTML5 by the end of the year.

After automatically opening the relevant page, you are free to explore our extensive interactive media library including 1200+ 3D scenes, hundreds of educational videos, dozens of tools and games to engage your students in a remote learning environment with Microsoft's general-purpose chat application. You can open up an exercise book, digital publications and reach your homework. You have unlimited access through Teams to the wide range of features that our digital educational solutions offer. With the single-sign-on, registration is quick and easy, and you can immediately access our entire media library through MS Teams without wasting time and effort.

Mozaik Education is delighted to announce that on May 26th 2020, with our partners Editura Didactică și Pedagogică (EDP) and EduMagic and with support of the Ministry of Education and Research of Romania we successfully hosted a webinar for our Romanian audience with more than 7000 concurrent viewers. The event was opened with the speech of the Romanian Minister of Education and Research, Ms. Cristina Monica Anisie. In the event "Use of 3D textbooks and interactive tools to support distance learning", we were aiming to provide educational content and training to all Romanian teachers who would like to improve their teaching, through technologies that are easy to use and very attractive for students.
The main focus was to showcase the digitalization and the use of EDP’s textbooks enriched with interactive tools in order to aid remote learning with the support of the mozaBook Classroom teaching software and the mozaWeb home learning solution. We were glad to assist with organizing a meeting where all Romanian teachers could participate online for free who would like to improve their teaching methods and learn how to customize their interactive textbooks in these difficult times.
In our current global situation because of Covid-19, we have recognized that both teachers and students must deal with a lot of uncertain factors to provide an environment where an effective and engaging transfer of knowledge could happen. Oftentimes teachers need to learn digital tools which are not designed from the ground-up to be intuitive for immediate use. With our digital solutions, we aim to provide a framework of these digital tools that are integrated with the simplest tools and also with e-textbooks enriched with interactive educational content - like 3D scenes, videos, apps and games - as well. Teachers also have the freedom of creating their own customized content with the help of mozaBook’s easy-to-use presentational features.
Providing technology that is attractive for both teachers and students could be vital in today’s digital world especially in light of recent global events. Engaging students and making teacher’s life easier is very important for us and we work hard every day with our partners to offer content and functionalities that are the best on the educational market. Combining familiar textbooks with access to over 1200 3D scenes, hundreds of educational videos and tools and games, teachers have the power to transform digital learning and to engage students and to save time and effort with the help of ready-made content while doing so.

We are happy to announce that on the 25th of February, at the GESS Dubai exhibition we introduced our 3D solution optimized for Oculus Quest VR headset. In the upcoming months we are going to let you experience this amazing virtual experience at various exhibitions. The very next will be at Stuttgart, during Didacta 2020, between the 24th and 28th of March. Of course you will be able to experience all of our other exciting digital educational solutions at these events as well!
Starting at the end of May 2020, we will make the Oculus Quest function available in our 3D scenes for our partners as well. After that, they will be able to showcase this mind-blowing solution to their end-users, schools, teachers and of course for students too.
The schools, teachers and students - which are already actively using our educational solutions - will be able to experience our 3D scenes optimized for Oculus Quest starting from September 2020. From that point forward, they will not only be spectators, but active participants of this marvellous virtual world.
