If, after updating or installing mozaBook, and launching it for the first time, you see an error message regarding a missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll file, this is what you need to do.
Please update Windows to the latest version:
- Windows 10
Start menu => Settings => Update and Security => Windows Update => Check for updates, then download and install any updates.
- Windows 8.1
Right click on the Start menu => Settings => System and security => Windows Update => Check for updates
- Windows 7
Start menu => Settings => System and security => Windows Update => Check for updates
Please wait until all the updates are installed, then restart your computer. Then launch mozaBook. If it starts, there is nothing else to do.
If the problem persists, please visit https://www.mozaweb.com/mozaBook, download the mozaBook installer and launch it. After reinstalling mozaBook, your previously downloaded publications, previously created exercise books and your existing local user will be present in mozaBook. In case mozaBook was not installed into the default folder, please make sure you install it in that folder this time too.
